I took some of my snakes to my 3yr old's day-care birthday party. I even drew up some flash cards to make the presentation somewhat "educational". There's no question the unhindered joy expressed by the kids at being able to handle the snakes was contageous, but I also enjoyed the more reserved fascinations expressed by the adults in the room. Often with guests, visiting kids will get very excited, and only later the father will approach me with subtle questions about how to get one, how to feed them, what they cost, etc... I say, if you got em, show em off!
