I think that anyone who seriously wants to breed should have done enough research to know that that tiny little thing will not be producing any 2003 clutches. Anyone who buys that animal expecting to get offspring from it this year doesn't deserve to be in the same room with their money.

I think some of the blame should be placed on consumers who do not take seriously their responsibility as a consumer to help keep the market in control.

Really, there wouldn't be so much rampant dishonesty if it weren't so easily rewarded, and thus profitable. The whole thing stinks, on both sides of the equation.
