The racks in the post above this are what I was actually planning on making, but for my hatchlings and yearlings, this one looks very nice for displaying my pretty adults:)
Do you care if i steal these pics to show my (private rack builder) brother?

:I had just put the middle snake, a female snow, with a male in my breeding cage.
:I do have written plans, but nothing done in a format I can get online just yet. I searched and searched for stuff myself, and came up short so I just decided to make one myself. It went through several designs, and I would only add the dam to this one as well. It's proving to be very functional.
:As for ease, the biggest problem is making sure you have the resources to cut your shelving straight! I've got a fellow teacher with a woodshop who helped get it done right. The only other difficult part was getting the holes routered for the glass plates in the floors.
:If you used glass for anything one way to save money (makes it cheaper to use than plexi) is to NOT get the edges worked. It almost doubles the cost of your glass. I just edged them all with white duct tape. More work on my part, but at the time I was seriously hurtin' for cash and pieced this together.

:Hope this helps. I will try to get something online somewhere with detailed plans as I can.

::Where's that middle snake? That's a NICE set up! Do you have written plans for that? I'm about to build my own rack, but I know my adults would LOVE that! How hard was it to build?
