:1.)What brand of "heat tape" did you use? where did you get it?
I used 11" flexwatt heat tape purchased online from the Bean Farm. (I did not purchase the aluminum tape, extension cords or dimmers from them, too expensive.) They were very fast in getting their product to me.
:2.)How did you connect the dimmer?
The dimmer is inline on one of the two wires that connects to the heat tape. The Bean Farm has a diagram somewhere on their site I believe. Another diagram came with the flexwatt when they sent it.
:3.)Where could I get clear plastic, not foggy rubber tubs?
If you find some that are at least 6.25" high let me know too! These were the best I could find in my area, and reasonably priced.
