Hovabator Instructions

I have recently purchased a hovabator to incubate my corn snake eggs in. I wanted to know what i have to do before i can incubate the eggs in it. I think i remember reading somewheres that you close off the holes and put water in the bottom but i am not sure. Any advice or instructions would be good.
