I looked at some sites and all the more reputable types (mostly .edu and .gov) said there is no evidence that a CRT tube poses any health risks, as the radiation levels emmitted are quite low. A few sites claimed risks, but mostly those ones were trying to sell something like radiation shields (kind of like people saying that cellphones will give you brain cancer, then proceeding to sell you a metal sticker to 'shield' the radiation)
