:Especially since the male turned her down, and she seems to be 'searching'.
:My Anery went 19 days after her pre-lay shed before she gave me 21 eggs!!! That was on the 17th of April.
:Last year she went about 15 days.
:Even my Snow went 15 days this year, and it's her first clutch.
:I've been hearing several people say that their girls are slower than normal to lay this season.
:She does look a little thin to be throwing lots of eggs, though.
:Has she been eating normal-sized food items?
:M!

She isn'e eating as well as usual, actually, just after her shed, she started refusing adult mice and has only eaten a few pinks and a fuzz in the last couple weeks, and she's normally a BIG PIG! So I keep going back and forth, is she or aint she. But she does seem to be growing in spite of the food reduction, so maybe she is just going slower this time. The weather has been realy up and down here (MN) could that make her go slower? She sure "acts" gravid. I'll just keep her away from Bruce, let her keep her nest box, and hope I'm not imagining her gravid behavior;)

Are second clutches usually smaller than firsts? (in the same season I mean)
