The problem with feeding baby corns before they shed (and some will feed before they shed) is that they will have a big bulge from feeding and then shed and the shed CAN & WILL get stuck on the corn. I would not recommend feeding before they shed, others have. I just prefer to wait until they shed. To each his own.......

As far as the baby corns becoming too familiar with a scent....I guess mine won't be drinking any coffee cause I always have a cup in my hand LOL
