:Actually I think it's because she just didn't have enough time to inspect it and see if it was "to her liking". The nest box was only in her cage since yesterday morning. I usually put them in the cage right after the pre-lay shed, giving them 5+ days to thoroughly check it out, but this time I didn't (for no particular reason).
