I intuit (though I am agnostic and reserve the right to be completely wrong)that our feelings of "right" and "wrong" are one of the big factors that makes humankind different from animals. The word, intuit, is meant to imply that there is no empirical basis for this opinion.
With that theorem accepted then we have a responsibility to pay attention to that moral impulse, a.k.a. conscience.
I have apologized for including creamsicles in my post. I will not back down from my more recent statements on the "Salmontines."
We can argue epistemic criteria all day if you like, but I have to listen to my conscience when it comes to questions unanswerable through empirical methods.
