Hey I really appreciate you advice. I did cover the cage with newspaper to keep her more secluded. I just really took it for granted because she is really friendly and I keep her and the male together year round. I did change the nesting box medium from peat to vermiculite and a layer of wet sphagnum moss. Before her pre egglaying shed she was hanging out in the box quite a bit. I'll keep you posted. thanks again.
