you might want to ask this on the boa or python forums too...

the only three examples that i can think of that don't get too big are rubber, rosy, and sand boas. all are readily available and easy to care for. I don't think that any of them will even reach 5ft. Also the males in these tend to be smaller like topping out at 2-3 feet?? someone correct me if i'm wrong. Hope i helped :o)
