Practically all of my yearling and hatchling snakes (all 16 of them) feed on their regular schedule (hatchlings every 3 and 4 days, yearlings every 7) regardless of their state in the shedding cycle. I can probably count on one hand the number of times they haven't eaten while in shed. The snakes I have purchased as adults (all 4 of them) are the only ones that have been finicky before/during shed. 'My' snakes have been on a regular schedule since day one, and seem to anticipate feeding day, so I wonder if that may have something to do with it.
