Take him to a vet, have the vet listen to his lungs. The infection cannot be treated with oral meds, so you will have to give him injections. Do not use over-the-counter fish antibiotics because it can be VERY bad for them. With the shots, which are easy to give, he should be better in a couple of weeks. Hope you both feel better.

:my 4 year old amel has a respatory infection. He has been coughing lately. what is the best way to deal with this problem? Are there any antibiotics on the market?
