I was thinking I'd need to wait another year too, wasn't even sure I would breed, till I got all addicted to cornsnakes;)
I put my okeetee male and snow female together on a whim, thinking, if they did, great, but if not, oh well. They went at it like crazy!!!!!! One clutch is about to hatch, and the second is about to be laid! Guess brumation isn't "always" needed;)
:I wasn't planning on mating any of my corns this year, since I only have one adult male(normal)and one adult female(striped snow) and the female was just purchased on the 26th.
:Niether one of them had been brumated, so I planned on holding off until next season and breeding her with my striped amel, who is still a little young for this year. Then I got to thinking what have I got to lose, so I put my normal corn with her and within 10 to 15 min they were locked up and going for it.
:This is my first breeding atempt so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
