If I bred these two normals, I'd expect to see offspring like that.

Until I saw caramels in person, Brutus (bottom one) looked like something halfway between "normal" and "caramel." He has a very "strange" eye color, something between light orange and yellow. You've done a good job of describing his belly pattern, too. ;)

But it's hard to tell with a pic, and I'm still no good at determining intergrades/hybrids by head shapes.
