Well, it depends on what other traits the parents are carrying.
Amels can be produced by:
amel to amel (or butter X snow, any two that are expressing amel...)
amel to normal(het)
normal(het) to normal(het)
For example, I've got a normal who is carrying (het for) Amel, Anery, Hypo, and Motley. Depending on what he is paired up with, he can produce normals, amels, anerys, motleys, hypos, snows, ghosts, motley anerys, motley amels, hypo amels, hypo motleys, motley ghosts, motley snows, hypo snows, and hypo motley snows.
(Some people really love having multi-het corns to pair up, because of mixed clutches like the above. I like him because I can use him to "test" other unknown individuals for the presence of those genes.)
It all depends on the genes your individual pairs have in common. If you know the parents of the normal, you could figure out more about what it is carrying or might be carrying. But most people don't get that kind of information when they buy theirs, especially their first couple of "pet" corns which they didn't buy with breeding in mind. ;-)
So, the point is, nobody "knows" what you'll really get at this point. But it's almost a sure thing that in any reasonably-sized clutch you will get some normals. :)
