:Are there any breeders in Canada she could order from?
I've been breeding black rat snakes for a few years, and will hopefully be breeding my first corns this summer.
Joe Clark, in Ontario (London, I think), produces lovely corns, and I've got one of his babies. Also, Simon Fung, in London. Dean Goudie, in Newfie-land. Katt, in Vancouver.
:Is it illegal to ship corns from the U.S. to Canada?
Not illegal, but the paperwork and importation procedures can be daunting. It is best to ship to someone that lives on the US side of the border, and then have them carried across by a friend. Dean Goudie carried several for me last fall, as did Simon Fung's friend. These came across into London, Ont.
This year, I'm thinking of shipping to Blaine, Washington, and having them carried across to Vancouver. The cost of shipping from Vancouver to Yellowknife, is about half the cost of shipping from London to Yellowknife.
