"Striped" is homozygous for the Striped gene.
"Motley" is homozygous for the Motley gene.
"Motley Striped" is heterozygous for the Motley and Striped traits... since they are apparent alleles, the hets look non-normal. One way to produce them is to breed a motley to a striped corn. The patterns on Motley/Striped vary from the two ends of the extreme, but like Marcel said, there are ways to tell between Striped vs. Motley/Striped.
