In an attempt to de-stress my male (he's been in a shoebox for about 3 weeks now to keep him away from her while she lays (he was kicking her out of the moist hide), I carefully attempted to put them back together last night... yeah, that lasted about two seconds...

I put him back in close to her, she starts twitching, he sniffs around her choc. then fully extends his hemipenis's and "releases" stuff right on her.

I thought maybe he'd be out of heat by now and wouldn't try to copulate (like he used to constantly when she first became gravid.

I definitely don't think she could handle another clutch yet, I hope there aren't more on the way...

thanks

:Your assumptions are accurate.
: A week or so after clutch #1 has been laid they can and will try to mate again. Females that lose a lot of weight may not be able to handle the stress.
:If you feel that she is too thin to bear another clutch, them by all means keep her away from the male.
