Actually, this snake did have some black when he was younger. He has lost all his black pigment in the last few sheds. I'm figuring it's either the extra yellow of the caramel gene or the 'hypo' qualities of the motley gene.
I TOO doubt Rich would have let an amber mot slip through his hands. On his webpage Rich does mention, with respect to caramel mots, "The light ones are spitting images of what I would envision an Amber Motley to look like." Mine is likely just a light one.
He has bred an amel mot, an anery mot, and an anery mot het hypo this year. This should atleast let me know is he's het for anything.
