*shrugs* it does indeed seem that this whole conversation has gotten way out of hand and not productive at all. All I was looking for when I first posted was some information. I wasn't "looking for a medal" or even trying to justify releasing wild caught animals back into the wild. I will even admit that my actions were wrong if that makes you feel better DC. I was young, thought I was doing the right thing, obviously I wasnt. If you want to say that I was commiting a slippery slope fallacy to relieve emotional baggage that is fine. I don't particularly care. My only point was that I was looking for INFORMATION. Again,I was not looking for a medal, but not seeking out an angry rant either. it has been my experience that people generally don't listen to you if you are simply yelling at them and telling them how much of a "boob" they were. I was simply suggesting to you that if you REALLY wanted to prevent animals from being released into the wild then you might want to phrase your arguments in such a way as people would be inclined to listen rather than dismissing you as an angry martyr who just wants to yell. That being said, I have my information and am completely sick of arguing. if that means that posting here is a waste of electrons then so be it.
