Can Lizards be Gay?

I have found from the information(the sexing photo) that I have two males sharing the same tank. They are almost two years old and they have never fought with each other. In fact they sleep together in the same location every night, curled up together. They bask together. In fact they do everthing together. Do I have two gay lizards?

PS. I can send photos of them(and there vents) if people require proof.
