That when a lizard is new its best to leave them settle in and not move things as to stress them, but in my opinion, after you have had him as long as you have, it's really up to you, he may feel comfortable with things the same, but if you would like to move things alittle he will get used to the change, I have changed things here and there and mine were all fine, sometimes they seemed almost INVESTAGATIVE, checking things out, Who knows maybe they get bored like us sometimes :0) Eve
