:Unfortunately, Curley Sue came out of brumation, never really got her orange bars, but had apparently bred with Tex, and ended up egg-bound.
:The short of it is, I lost her. She was only two... not sure if I could have done anything differently... we tried soaking her, etc, and she just got weaker very fast.
:Now Tex is a lonely fellow. :(
:But on a better note, my dickersonae, "Ziggy" and "Topaz" are doing well. Lately, they have dined on waxworms. Afterwards, Ziggy looked very fat and satisfied!
Sorry to hear the news. I too lost a female this wee from the same reason. She was a C. bicinctores female that was alittle thin coming out of brumation and became gravid right away without having time to fatten up. She laid 2 eggs but couldn't lay the rest.
