Eve...I know you posed your question to Will, but thought I would chime in on the subject. In my opinion, the examples provided a while back - including my own - concerning aggression in male Dickerson's Collared Lizards are the exception, rather than the rule, with this species. I am currently maintaining a small colony of c.b. adult C. dickersonae in captivity, and each of the males (except for one) coexists peacefully in the same enclosure with one or more females on a year-round basis. The lone exception deviates so dramatically from the others in his aggressive nature, I am lead to believe that he is simply "a few cards short of a full deck"! LOL
