Well it's that time again when the bobbing starts and the eggs start flowing-well i'm hoping anyway,my new male is certainly keen but the females are well distracted by the new found abundance of locust's and hisser's.I bred them last year with my other male who unfortunately died from sand impaction,i honestly had no idea there was anything wrong until the day he died-i think the sand had solidified and cut through the gut lining which in turn caused internal bleeding, the autopsy more or less confirmed this:(Anyway i now use crushed corral which is great, they swallow it alot and it passes straight through and is also pure calcium-bonus.A big thanks to eve for showing me the way to sex collareds and once again set me on the road to loads of eggs (again, hopefully)
jason:)
ps did you know that the war is stopping me getting more collarreds in the uk and not only that my brothers over there in basra-nasty:(
