:You need to completely dismantle the cage and make it simple as possible(newspaper substrate, not a lot of rocks etc.). Before putting the paper substrate in spray the entire cage down with Provent-a-mite. This stuff works awesome. After a month or so, and you make sure the lizards have no more mites, set your display cage back up the way you want it using new substrate and washing(thoroughly scrub) all the furnishings(rocks and such, avoid wood-too hard to clean and make sure all the mite eggs are removed). It is good to even let them soak in a large tub of mild bleach solution for a couple days before cleaning. Good luck.
you will need to take cage apart clean everything. iagree with tom but veg oil will kill all mites and eggs on lizards you can get rid of them just take time and do it right so you wont have repeat.good luck. chris
