:This male Clown Agama is going on his fourth spring living in my yard (in rock garden). Back in late January my neighbor across the street mentioned that his brother-in-law captured an unusual lizard ( they know nothing about herps--I'm just glad they did not say "Hey Dave, We KILLED a funny looking lizard!!") that was laying on a stack of 2x4's behind their shed. I went over & took a look and damn near died. The guy was not too happy with the fact that I claimed it to be mine and he did not get to keep it. Tuff luck for him I guess. Anyway--- this lizard has been know to frequent a few places on the block but normally would come back after a week or so. There is also an escaped female Agama that is full grown now living in a large tree a hundred yards behind me. I need to catch her soon.

:I took this pic while I was getting in place to get a pic of a "Yard Hognose Snake" sunning. This Agama will take a couple of steps when I get around 20 ft or so and then start displaying at me. I try to back away-- and let him think he is the winner.

:Sorry for the Ramblin'
