Very fine chucks!! If thats what they really are!!! They look like a creature all of their own compared to wimpy mainland chucks! I first saw a varius at the Houston Zoo a "few" years ago and thought someone throwed up on it. I was not expecting that coloration at all!! Plus -the Houston varius was about twice a plump as it should have been-- rolls of blubber like an old tire.
Good luck with these guys & gals Tom-- If any one can pull it off ( and deserves it) --you do.
