Hi Eric,

I think it's called a self-priming pressure pump. You can e-mail the guys at Ecologic Technologies and ask them if they have a rebuild or a slightly damaged pump. We got our pump for $20 less because it had a torn label. The people there are very responsive and the service is excellent. We ended up trashing our first pump because it ran dry and they sent us a new one, no questions asked. I think it's definitely worth the extra cost to deal with them.

:rainmaker pumps can be bought on their site, but they are expensive, on their site, their timers are priced at double the home depot cost. what is the name of the pump included in the systems, I bet I could find it cheaper than $90
