If you will only be using it for one cage, this very simple system by Barrs might be all that you need. We have never tried it but a friend of ours who keeps several chameleons recommended it to us:

Here is another link that describes this type of system further, it was set up by a guy who set it up for his veiled chameleon. He even managed to hook it up to his computer for a completely automated system! Check it out:

:are all systems pretty much the same or is there one that stands out as being better? i'll only being using it for one chameleon(nosey be' panther) and MAYBE(and a huge maybe at that!)adding a female next year.
