I'm aware that some species are not.. tolerant to being held, due to stress..
Are these one's that can tolerate being held every now and then?
::I always wanted a chameleon.. the problem is, everywhere I go to find one, it's usually.. most likely (with the experience I have with chams.. which is close to none.) over priced. I don't know much about chameleons, so I was just curious.. what would be a good chameleon for a first timer, and with the suggestion, if you could attach a care sheet. I'm not reptile illeterate. I've kept monitors, boas, uromastyx, and tegus. I've just decided, I'll go one step farther and get what I've always wanted..

:Veilds and Panthers are hardy species and more forgiving than others once you accomplish the basics of learning about they're requirements. Just type panther chameleon or veild chameleon in your search box and you will come up with alot of care sheets.
:Your best bet is to buy a panther or veild that is at least 5 months old (for first time owners) as they are past the delicate stage and you will have beter success..
