Hi, ive been into herps for about 6 years now and ive only had one cham. It was a jacksons chameleon which seemed healthy at the expo but after its shed cycle went on for far longer then i thought was normal i took it to a vet, long story short the cham had some internal infection or something and i sadly died about a week later. Im about to try again but im going to go with a vield this time and do it right. I have a pretty nice screen enclosure recently refitted with a rubber or plastic covered pet wire mesh, easier on hands. Im going to go (unless someone thinks its a really bad idea) with a ZooMed 100watt merc vapor bulb which my friend has had great success with. Im going to have the enclosure done a while before I get the cham so im looking for safe plant recommendations. Also im considering mail order this time from Reptile Depot, does anyone have any feelings good or bad about that establishment? Well thats a start I guess, thanks for any suggestionsl.
