Gravid veiled chameleon ?

I have an gravid adult female veiled chameleon and before I mated her she was carrying eggs that were infertle and now I bred her to my adult male veiled and she stopped eating crickets and other food that I offer to her. What does this mean.Is she ready to lay ???? Please let me know.
