:i have the mini dripper outside and on top of the cage. my problem is the dripping water just beads up on the mesh wire of the cage and doesn't drip into the cage. what is the trick to get it into the cage? do i need to spread the mesh out a bit to get the water into the cage and onto the plant?

Simple!Stick a round toothpick 1/4 inch through screen where you want it to drip,place hose over it.(inserting toothpick into hose)water wicks down exacty where you want it!!! stnman HD M/C tech.
