They're called wax worms because they infest beehives, they really aren't a maggot, they're caterpillars and turn into moths.
Very good signs for Zoe, hopefully he'll keep getting stronger. Go easy on the waxies they are fattening but have lots of Phosphorus which could interfere with his metabolizing his calcium
