Hi- I dont use fish flakes because most have alot of protein, to much of it, and alot of phosporus in the food, amoung other things. These two things in large quanity are not good, same thing with cat food and dog food. Yes the crickets will eat it, it is probly more of a personal thing, I see alot of people feed it. I kept coral reef tanks (acropora sp.), saltwater fish, freswater fish, softwater fish, and there was always a debate over which food is better then the other, and it all came down to what is in the food. I dont fell comfrotable feeding fish food to my crickets and then my crickets to my chameleons. There are alot of diffrent brands of food out now and each have there own ingredents. Also a high build up of phosporus in the blood blocks the calcium needed for bone growth. This is why the good vitamin supplements say right on the front of the package phosporus free in big letters! This is my opinion!

:I was wondering why you say not to feed fish flakes to cricket's? Not agreeing or disagreeing just wondering why you say this. I feed my cricket's an assortment of foods but fish flakes seem to be the food of choice. I have never had a problem develope of any kind. Just wanted to know if it was some study or your personal opinion.. Remember i am just asking :)
