Icequeen,
Hang in there I know how you feel but I did have a cham return to good health after months of caring for him and he is almost 3 yrs old now. Please try this product it will make your life easier and was recommended to me by a great vet. Go to www.flukerfarms Look on the welcome page. to the right side there is an article that says Dr. Mark Mitchell develops critical care formula. Try that product. Keep force feeding him don't stop to try and get him to eat. Instead build up his strength for as long as it takes. As long as he gains you are on the right track. It sometimes takes a long time for them to get sick and even longer for them to heal they don't do anything fast. I keep force feeding and I also offer food in a feeding cup so I can see if they ate any. When they are ready they will start on their own. I am not telling you to make the animal suffer needlessly but if he is shooting his tongue I think it's a good sign. I know you don't know me and why should you listen to me but every day I think about your little Zoe and wish him well. I think he is a spunky little lizard and you deserve a medal for how hard you are working with him and everything you have done for him.
Sincerely, Sonia
