we have a veiled about 2 1/2 monthes old. The other day he started shooting his tongue out at random times at nothing. He'll sit there, eye up nothing, and shoot his tongue out. At first I thought there could be something in his eye, so we gave him a little shower one day when we misted him. His eyes aren't swollen or sunken in. Even when we had him out to clean his cage, he tried to eat something of my shirt and off of my hair. (He also shot his tongue out at my fingernail, so I put a peice of kiwi there and he ate it!!) He still catches crickets with no problem, he doesn't ever miss.
So, is this noraml? Does any one else cham do that?
