I just read in the skink forum, where this guys skink eats his poop too. He doesn't seem to even question it.
do you think it might be a protective thing? Like eating the evidence that he's even BEEN there?

:I've never even seen Zoe go for a poo...let alone EAT it too!!!

:I know with dogs etc. they say it's a sign of a dietary (vitamins, minerals) deficiency...but I haven't a clue with lizards.

::This morning, we fed Roan as usual, he ate like a little pig, somewhere around 10-15 1/2 crickets. After he was done, like clockwork, he did his business, and all seemed fine. The strange part was that one chunk of his...um...poo landed on a leaf almost directly below him. After a minute or two he shot his tongue out at it, but didn't get it. I decided to try to stop him from eating it so I put my hand in his cage to block his path. He worked his way around my hand to where he had a clear shot and ate it up. Is this normal and more importantly...is this healthy???
