This points out why caresheets are hard to do well. Trying to separate information that is true for all chams as a group, for specific species, or for individual animals is tough. A lot of caresheets don't identify what has worked for the individual keeper (or their opinion about something) versus what has worked for many successful keepers (overall). I think many caresheet authors who think this out carefully realize a lot of info just can't be included because it could unintentionally set a newbie off on a tangent that won't work for their particular animal. Still, cham husbandry is improving a lot these days and we have figured out many of the quirks.
