i say let him eat all he can, my veiled when she was a baby ate terrific numbers of small (dusted) crickets and fruit flies (careful with the mealies as they can get constipated) 20 or so a day but who could count? she would also sit and wait at her feed cup, it was very cute. at one point she went from 14 to 30 grams in a month and she's always been healthy. bon appetite little guy!

:hi :) we have a baby panther who, after shedding twice, has developed a seemingly insatiable appetite -- he will sit on the feeding bowl (which is near the bottom of his screen cage) for hours, as if he's waiting for food to appear. as it is, we feed him 5-6 small crickets at first, but then we will offer him more and he snaps them up. he is about 4.5" in length. how many crickets should he be eating? we don't want to deprive him of what he needs, and we didn't think chams would overeat -- are we doing something wrong? any help would be appreciated! thanks!
