Right now I am thinking about building a cage. I like that I can make it EXACTLY the size that I want. I can make the biggest size that will fit in the space I have.. otherwise I would have to buy a 2x2x4foot one. (the cage I'm planning is 3x2x5). I also like the look of it (with wood). Another option would be to see if someone makes customized cages. This would probably cost more, and take longer, but you would still get what you want without the hassle.
I guess I'll know more once I try and build the thing lol. Maybe my thoughts will change. For now, I'm with building.
