everyone has a different thought about this. Some say give him as much as he will eat in 15 minutes. Some say you should start worrying about it at around this age and limit him to about 5-7 bugs a day. My cham I leave pretty much on his own. I do monitor his eating though. When he was little he would eat everything in site. Now he is approaching abotu 9 months in age and he'll usually eat about 10 bugs a day. But for example, i'll put maybe 20 in there and do a count to see what he's eaten. Some days he eats very little, some days he'll eat more. I feel it's important to supply him w/ what he is comfortable w/. In the wild their bug surplus would be very large.
