I had my vieled for six years, from hatching him in my dorm room in college till he died in his palacial 20' x 20' x 12' outdoor house, he never like being handled. So i left him alone only handling him for transporting and check-ups. Plus once he got big i'm sure his bite would have broke skin so i wore gloves. but he never bit me just displayed he was not to happy.
