Other than a pretty high wattage spot light probably not, as the plant leaves will block most of it. A high watt bulb can be dangerous and create a lot of heat. You don't have to have 2 expensive ReptiSuns, a less expensive fluorescent grow light or other strip light in a simple fixture would do as well.:
