Wow! Chameleons HATE to see dogs and cats. Just give it a try for a few days and see if it helps. Visual stress is a big thing for them. Mine really stress out when they see other animals especially dogs, cats and birds. In the wild they get eaten by these. They never get used to them. Its just instinct. Even when they stop showing stress coloring they still see those animals and spend all day worrying about them. Also even though they don't seem stressed by us picking them up (even on their terms) they really are. Try giving her a little extra privacy. Especially since she is under the weather. Only pick her up to feed and water her for a few days. Try taking her out for sun on a branch or houseplant. Keep a close eye on her so she doesn't wander away though. I know its hard to stay away and not hold her especially if she is sick but you might be surprized by the results. Don't worry if it doesn't work right away. My female panther chameleon ( Gala ) just started eating today after two months of force feeding. I also moved her away from where she could see my African Grey and my cats. Hope all is well soon.
