I use a "privacy screen" type of deal for Orion, all day everyday. He gets a little freaked when I take it off. He is in my bedroom. Maybe my dresser scares him, lol. Or the drafting board. It IS kind of ugly. lol.
Anyway, to the point. You know those flowy sun skirts they sell at places like Port Dover? I have one that is ankle length, and is a blue colour with big orange flowers. I just drape it around the back, and tie it. I think you should use a sheet, and just have it cover most of his tank. If it is still bright enough in there, you could even cover all of it, just leave the top open. I think that will make him more comfortable for now.
