sick panther chameleon

My 6 month old diego has been sick the last week or 2... he finished his shedding and ever since has been REAL lethargic, very weak, hangs out at the bottom of the cage, and he has been sitting with his toungue out most of the time... I took him to the vet (who didnt seem to be super knowledgable with chams) and she gave me baytril to give to him. I have given him that as well as some pedialyte mixed with water... nothing much has changed except he stopped eating a day or 2 ago, which is odd for him... does anyone else know what I can do? I am at a real loss for remedies right now so any help would be GREATLY appreciated... thanx
